Thanks Ben. Will use your idea to form some groove for the path and even assemble it with the rest of the parts because i wanted to use it in an animation within the assembly environment.
I intend to use it during some technical drawing lesson on link mechanisms. If there’s even a better way of showing the same inside the assembly environment with all rods and links assembled, i’ll be more than grateful. Thanx again.

Using the layout sketch you can add parts and constrain them to the sketch and get what you need…
