    So some of you may have been getting errors on my site and I have identified the problem and am working on a fix. It is not malicious it is merely a Javascript coding error that has been identified. Please be patient and cross your fingers Google gives me a green light.

    In the mean time the plugin for this site will no longer function and unless I receive more donations to re-develop it, it will remain not functioning. I apologize for the issues and will update as soon as the funding is available

    I have made a decision. I will be finishing off a couple of contract jobs I have and then I am going to try and see if I can make a go at making my living helping other SolidWorks users out there.

    I will be creating a SolidWorks ‘Design Support’ subscription site where you will get bi weekly video tutorials as well as guest posts from some of the best in the business, web-conferences (I am looking at doing one once a month with a 2 month holiday during the summer) and some one on one time with yours truly on a first come first serve basis. Those that have supported me in the past via PayPal will get a free membership in appreciation of past donations as your support has been paramount in keeping me going on this site and SolidMentor.

    So I have a couple of questions for you:

    1. With a subscription site what would you pay per month, per 6 months or per year for some of the best video tutorials online for SolidWorks modeling?

    2. What would you expect to see in a ‘Design Support’ site

    3. What would it take to get you to buy a membership and tell some friends about it?

      SolidWorksDaily.com already does this. They have videos, support, mobile phone support for videos and their abour 5 bucks a month with their 14 month subscription.

      Brian, Thanks for the input. The site is underconstruction in the background and will have a new look and maybe some new features real soon. I agree, the layout is not so good, but the content is.

    I am going to be updating the site here soon and also doing some ad trials. Do not hesitate to let me know what you think of the changes good and especially bad. Remember this is a community site and if I do not have your support then it is nothing.

    Testing of the site…. I need to do some testing and there are going to be some posts coming up and taken down for the next day or so. I appologize to all the people with a RSS feed for the site but in the end it will make for a better site.
