Quickly adding commands to your toolbars
Neil Custard of SolidWorksTips and I have joined forces and are currently writing a book on SolidWorks tips and tricks. Here is a preview of one of the tips. Stay tuned for the book launch!
Most know if you right click on a tool bar and choose customize at the bottom of the dialog that pops up you can then choose the commands tab and look for the command you want to add to a tool bar then drag and drop it onto your toolbar.
The quick way to do this however is to use the search function at the top of your SolidWorks Window. Select Commands from the drop down menu.
Then type in the command name. Lastly from the search results drag the command to a tool bar and Voila you just saved a ton of mouse clicks and scrolling.
