I used to have windows vista home basic. realizing that solidworks just did not function properly on this os I jumped on windows 7 beta and was pleased. Now I am on windows 7 rc and everything is still working fine but microsoft is offering its home and pro versions for half price. Does anyone know if these will run solidworks ok or do I have to fork over top dollar for the ultimate version? (which is the rc version I am running right now)

  Is there any way to download and try home to see? I would imagine that Pro would be sufficent. But I am not sure.
