I have the same problem on my Nvidia card also. I have had this for as long as I have been using SW. Lets see who else has this occur.

First thing is to check that you’re using an approved card *and* driver. Bear in mind that drivers can be system (i.e. Dell, HP) specific. Go to http://www.solidworks.com/sw/videocardtesting.html and make sure you’re up to spec.
One other thing: if you do install another driver, be sure to uninstall the old one first.

This has been a problem for a looong time. Especially when using thin material or sections.
I don’t believe it is card specific, but have no data to back that up.

I should have said to begin with that I am using the NVIDIA FX1700 with the most current driver. This seems to be when I have a thin piece of sheet metal in close proximity to another part.

I see this as well and as CBL pointed out, it’s from thin sections and has been happening for a long time.

Yup, what CBL and Chris said…don’t know why it happens.
