i am using solidworks 2010. does anyone know why the center dimension option is not available on diameter dimensions? i want to place a diameter dimension inside a circle but i do not want it to be on center because then it is over top the center marks. in 2009 you could rmb click the dimension > select display options > uncheck center dimension.
any ideas?

Check SPR 523643. This was tagged as a “low” customer impact. I personally would tag it as “PITA”
My workaround is to go to Doc Properties and de-select “Center between extension lines” then place my Diameter dimensions. I’ll be glad when they fix this….

By the way, Jason….thanks for your In Context session last Monday. I specially liked your idea of adding a current project directory to the Design Library location….that’ll save me MANY mouse clicks in the future…..
