I am in hopes that one of you fine wizards can assist me in a method that I am totally unfamiliar with. I have modeled a round sphere that I must attach (raised) four ornate letters to on the sphere. I should be able to do that ok, however I never had to put letters on a model that I had to model and extrude separately because they are custom letters. Please share with me the method by which I import and place onto my existing sphere model. Do I import the sketch itself, if so how do I move it about to get the placement on the model that I need? Do I need to cut and paste it? If someone would take the time to give me a detailed procedure, I would be in your dept.
