Hi. I’m sorry to bother you. I need help. I started to use SW recently. Before SW I used Kompas 3D.
When we are starting ro draw in SW we start form creating 3D model. I think it’s wrong because you are creating 3D model when you exactly know what do you want.
Usually I make drawing and after creating a drawing I make 3D model (when it necessary).
Why there are not examples where we start to make a drawing from 2D and 3D model after.
I need help. For example I made 3D model and after it drawing. I’ve saw suddenly that’s a wrong model and I want delete 3D model and edit my drawing to add new elements (for examlpe).
I can’t divide my drawing on a simple lines. Is it possible? When I was reading Russian forums then people write to make it they are saving their drawings in .Dwg Is there any solution to make it?

There is a whole lot here to deal with and I am not clear on most of it. But Ill take a shot at this:
1. You start by making sketches in a model and then creating 3d bosses from it.
2. I am not clear on your use of drawing. So lets start here. When you ‘sketch’ it is something in a 3d part that you use for making 3D geometry. When you make a ‘drawing’ you are taking the 3D model and putting it into a drawing to derive the final product to send to manufacturer. Can you re-ask some of your questions using this terminology?
3. If your 3D model needs to be modified after you do a drawing. Open the 3D model and modify it, then the drawing will reflect the changes.
4. You can divide drawings and if I understand that correctly look up ‘sections’ in help
Hope that helps out.
