First question I see you all asking. How do I add a Avatar? Go to http://en.gravatar.com/site/signup and with the same email you used here create a profile with your avatar. It will then show up!

Ben,
I'm not too worried about an avatar (although I did try to upload one before noticing this post), but why do we have to 'sign-in' somewhere else to do so. I try to keep my info to as few places as possible.
On a similar vein, why do I have to submit my name and email every time I post a comment when I am already logged in to SOLIDJott … or am I doing something wrong?

You make a good point. I will see what I can do for the comments but with the Avatar that is the best way I could make things work. I will look into some other method

Also this is another register thing to keep trolls out if you hit the radio button “Register” at the bottom of the comment text box you will find that should be the last time you have to sign in, It also helps the searching.
Another added bonus is that a few other SW blogs use this system and your avatar and comment sign in will carry over to those blogs as well. Making searching comments you made on other blogs on the same topic easier..

OK, I will try the “Register” suggestion when posting this comment.
… but what is this registering me with or to?

Apparently the registration is with DISQUS … and I still have to fill in the Name and Email fields before being allowed to post a comment.

You make a good point and I have removed it from the site. The premise of the site is EASY EASY EASY and that is not at all easy. Thanks for pointing that out. Also sorry for the hassle. One of the curses of being a early adopter I guess

Thank you behnt and/or benht007 and/or admin.
Are you triplets or do you have multiple personalities? You all look sooo much alike. [lol]

Ooops. Guess I missed the Good/Evil (?) member of the Quadruplets. Many thanks Ben.
BTW, are we able to use emoticons or tgml codes or signatures?
Yeah I know, pushy, pushy, pushy.

Ben, while I seem to have your attention here … I’ve just noticed that I am able to give myself ’stars’ on a post I made yesterday.
See my first post at http://solidjott.com/?p=53#comment-106
Sorry, the flashing red stars on mouse-over was just too great a temptation. :0]

Go ahead and vote for your self it can only be done once via ip or login so one should not be able to skew the results. I do have multiple personalities as it is a good way to test what all the people with differing login permissions can see. i.e. a administrator, a author, a editor….
I also have a chance to use a line from one of my favorite cult classics here thank you
“Good… Bad… Meh I’m the guy with the gun…” Name the movie
As far as the tgml goes try it out I do not know and Ill look into signatures here in the next few days. I have some bigger fish to fry right now.
