Does Solidworks have the capacity for saving an assembly as an .stl file and as a single file? I am attempting to save an assembly of two parts and it saves it as two separate files. I need to have a prototype 3-D Printed and I need it to be assembled. What am I doing wrong here?

Have you tried saving the assy as a part first?

Or after selecting “Save as type > STL”, click the Options button and select the “Save all components of an assembly in a single file”
