I have a goofy request… Hopefully someone is on now that can help. I have a 3dconnexion Space navigator SE and I am UNABLE to connect to their website to download the driver. I’ve tried every PC in the house and even altered Internet settings. I can get to any site in the world, EXCEPT for 3dconnexion.com? Can someone try to go to that site and post back if you were successful? I’m looking to see if they have a 64bit driver for the Space Navigator SE?
    Thanks very much…

    The connection has timed out

The server at http://www.3dconnexion.com is taking too long to respond.

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web

    Hey All,

Long time - no see… Can anyone help me with a blending issue? I would like to blend the faces together of the wrist strap extrude into this part? Haven’t explored surface blending enough, I guess.

    Thanks

I am now experiencing “Ghosting” as I move my mouse over a part segments of the part ghost out? Also edges, faces, and vertices no longer highlight when I cursor over them.
I am running a nVidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB. Also I was using RivaTuner to Slightly overclock the GPU. Are these indications of a GPU going bad or do I need to check some internal settings? Has anyone else experienced these issues?
    Thanks

Nice..Thats what I’m talking about. Every once-in-a-while I like to try different ways of doing things and I sure appreciate your input. I really liked the “lead-Out” idea with revolving a sketch line.
    Thanks CBL…
    P.S. I swear I hit REPLY…

Because of the thickness of my part (I am assuming) I am unable to perform a “Variable Pitch” helix to create a clean entry and exit of my thread. Is there a method for cleaning up these end conditions without using the variable pitch option? The “error” I receive is “zero thickness geometry” when I try the variable pitch on this particular helix.
    Thanks for any help…

Ok, I give up. I am trying to make a Screen inside the frame of this filter part. If you open the part you will see my attempts if you roll to the end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What happened to the ability to edit responses? In referance to my response to Berko;
If you follow the link I provided, you will not be able to view the complete article, you will be asked to “Subscribe”. If you goto google search and type in: When A GeForce Isn’t A GeForce
The first link is the article and if you goto it from there you will get the WHOLE article! Goofy, I know.

Speaking of “Springs…” I would like to create a mate with this Sub-Assembly that will allow the spring to be compressed in future animation?
Also does anyone know how to create tight spiral turns at the start and end’s of a helix?
    Thanks

If you open the part file in HLV you will see the holes that I am trying to connect?

Recently, I reformatted my system and forgot to save my favorites list. Now I can’t seem to remember a particular SW CAD site I would really like to get back to. Think it was something like CADDIT.com but that goes nowhere. Would appreciate any referances that you can supply.

    Thanks

    CADDIT.NET    No that wasn’t it.

Does anyone know of a “High Level” Add-in Render engine for swx 2009?
Right now I export to Rhino and use Vray.
