I need some help with surfaces. I was OK with Pro/E but have not really learned yet with SW.

I have three tangent curves intersecting to form half of a snow plow looking feature. How do I make this a solid? I made the planar surfaces by doing a fill. I can’t seem to get the loft to work on the compound surface. Here is a screen shot. (click to enlarge).

I need a model of a Macbook 13. I have the basic dimensions but I was hoping someone had a model already created. I’m a PC user and don’t have access to the Macbook. I could take my calipers the Apple store but I’ll get too many questions.

If you are curious, I am designing an accessory for the Macbook. The design will be submitted on the Quirky Social Product Development site: http://www.quirky.com/?r=46892bff632fc61d670dd7e4bbe8f4e8

When using PhotoWorks and RealView, what is more important: processor speed, video card, or syste, RAM. Renderings take forever and some models won’t even render.

Can you recommend a workstation configuration for a part-time user that wants photo quality renderings?

I do consulting that involves simple parts and assemblies but I need the graphics I produce to be ready for a product brochure.
