After upgrading to SW2009SP4.0, the Feature Manager no longer appears when selecting ANYTHING in the graphics window.

Any ideas on how to get it back?

Well, that screenshot was useless; you don’t see the Feature Manager… And I meant the Property Manager doesn’t show up for anything selected in the graphics area.

Well, I figured it out. View|Workspace|Default seemed to fix it. Odd, since I hadn’t changed it…

Nice when you answer your own question. Wondered if you have dual monitors? I have seen this happen and your solution is typically what I suggest!

      Lou,

Yes, I do have dual monitors, but I have not used the Workspace settings; I run SW on one monitor. I guess the SP tweaked something…

    Tags: toolbox configurations SolidWorks library

I seem to recall a way to create all configs of a Toolbox component, but with the interface changes in 2009, I can’t see where to do that… Can it still be done, & if so, how?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but if you RMB click on a part in the toolbox you will get to the config. screen where you can do “All Configurations” and so on. Heres a screen shot if it displays.

My appologies for the first post… I was actually in 2008 when I posted that reply eirlier. I am in 09 now and see the process IS different than 08. Same process though…RMB click on a part and select Configure. I have a new screen shot, but wasnt able to figure out how to apply it with the temporary process, however, it is in the media library so if you click on Dashboard and go there you will see it!

But in 2008 you could force all configurations to be created in the library parts. Unless I am missing something, I cannot find that option in 2009…
