The file contains the profile of the part and the helix it needs to follow. The part needs to end up 3mm thick midplane about the helix line. Hope you can help.

Not sure if this is what you want, but you can open the file and see the steps I applied.

Thanx for the model, but not quite what i am looking for. Hard to explain but the finished article is a 3mm thick part made from the profile and then twisted around the helix. It is one segment of a scroll for an agitator shaft.

If you edit the sweep you can change how the profile follows the path…
